ABOUT THIS FUNCTION
When someone decides to get baptized during a service, it happens the very same day with us. The Baptism Team welcomes these people and helps them prepare practically for their baptism.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
You approach people who have indicated that they want to be baptized. You briefly explain what is going to happen. You help them with the practical preparation. You make sure that baptismal clothing and towels are ready. You guide the candidates before and after their baptism.
DOES THIS SUIT YOU?
You are warm, calm, and clear. You know how to make people feel at ease and love giving them personal attention at an important moment in their faith journey.
WHY YOU MATTER
The decision to be baptized can happen very spontaneously during a service. While someone is taking an important step with God, you ensure that everything around it runs smoothly and peacefully. This allows the person baptizing to focus on what truly makes this day special.
