ABOUT THIS FUNCTION
If someone from our congregation is ill, we would like to let them know: we are thinking of you and you have not been forgotten. The Hospital Visitation Team helps by visiting people at home or in the hospital.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Visiting someone at home or in the hospital. Giving them some time and personal attention. Bringing a card or a small token of appreciation. Encouraging someone. Letting them know, on behalf of the community, that they are being thought of.
DOES THIS SUIT YOU?
You are warm, friendly, and compassionate. You enjoy standing alongside someone on behalf of the municipality and giving them personal attention.
WHY YOU MATTER
Especially when someone is ill, a visit can mean a lot. A familiar face, a kind word, or just being together for a moment lets someone know: you belong with us and we haven't forgotten you. This is how we care for one another as a congregation, even when someone is unable to come to church for a while.
