Do you speak multiple languages and have a feel for language, timing, and communication?
ABOUT THIS FUNCTION
We are looking for people who want to use their language skills within Destiny. We especially want to train people for our services to translate from English to Dutch and Dutch to English. In addition, other languages are also very welcome for conferences, guests, and special moments.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Simultaneous translation during services. Translation for people following the service via headphones. Translation during conferences and special services. Translation on stage next to a speaker or preacher. Translation into other languages when needed.
DOES THIS SUIT YOU?
You command one or more languages well and can quickly listen, understand, and articulate. You have a feel for language, timing, and the message being conveyed. You do not need to be an experienced stage interpreter yet. We are specifically looking for people with natural talent who are willing to learn and grow further in this field.
WHY YOU MATTER
The Bible says: “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” If we want to welcome and reach people from all nations, language must not be a barrier. Through good translation, people who speak another language can still hear and understand the Word, and feel at home in God's house. That is why translators and interpreters are important.
